HOW TO CHECK IF SPARKPLUGS ARE BAD?

MY CAR IS HAVING A LOSS OF POWER AND I DONT KNOW IF ITS THE SPARK PLUGS ARE BAD OR IF I HAVE A BAD CAT CONVERTER IM NOT SURE IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN CHECK IF THE SPARK PLUGS ARE BAD OR DO YOU GUYS KNOW IF THERE COULD BE ANOTHER PROBLEM I ALSO CHANGED THE FUEL FILTER AND TE PUMP IS ONLY LIKE 2 YEARS OLDHOW TO CHECK IF SPARKPLUGS ARE BAD?

Bad plugs almost always show up as misfire under load. You will find a particular point on the throttle (varies with the incline of the road and engine temperature) where the engine power actually drops and the engine runs rough if you go past it, then comes back when you let off a bit, just like there was a switch doing it.



You don't mention make, model, or year, and power loss problems often depend a lot on that.
