some spark plugs are difficult to reach i have heard i may have to remove part of the intake manifold. just wondering if anybody has any experience in this area.thx.2000 ford ranger 2.5 liter how do i change sparkplugs?

I have a '95, and changed them, when I first bought the truck. There are 2 plugs per cylinder, and the tough ones were still the original ones. They are very tough to get at, a thin walled plug socket is nice, and you will need various 3/8%26quot; extensions, wobbler's, universal joints, and patience to be successfull.2000 ford ranger 2.5 liter how do i change sparkplugs?
you can remove the upper intake if you need to but i never have, a long extension and a plug socket with a universal always worked for me, its not easy to change the plugs but it can be done, getting the wires off the plug is the hardest part after that its easy
